About Us

In August 2023 wildfires swept through Maui devastating the historic town of Lahaina, taking the lives of our loved ones, and leaving many people homeless and heart broken.

With a community to rebuild, We Are Maui reached out to hundreds of brands to help throw a free shopping event for those affected by the fires. The event took place on September 23, 2023 and was called Rise Up Lahaina.

Local brands like Aloha Collection to international brands such as Ulta Beauty joined in to help along with the rest of the generous brands that donated thousands of new clothing, shoes, accessories & beauty products to the people of Lahaina and Kula that lost everything.

At the event, We Are Maui designed and gave away hats that which quickly became a new staple in the community. After the event, We Are Maui decided to open up an online store selling the hats to the public and donating 100% of the profits to those affected by the fires.

Today, We Are Maui is in dozens of stores across the Hawaiian islands and on the mainland. We want to thank you personally for helping us as we work together to rebuild our community and rasie money for our ohana.
